Just came here for some coffee and was not disappointed.
We sat outside and enjoyed a couple Lattes while watching the locals walk by. Coffee was perfect and I have no doubt that the food is on par. Just a cool little spot located in a area full of bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants.
I would absolutely make another visit when I'm in the area. -
Dig I.
Fantastic little coffee shop with chill environment, cool employees, personable owner, fair prices. Occasionally you'll see something like open mic happening, but it's never too loud or overbearing.
If there was room for improvement: 1) music feed plays commercials (why not just run a free commercial-free shoutcast feed?) and 2) all the chairs are rock hard, wood and metal. Make sure you bring a coat to sit on if you have a bony posterior like I do!
Overall this place is fantastic though. -

Hot outside come by and try some amazing iced cold beverages that will satisfy your need to cool down. Marino's has a very warm family vibe of you love family and friends come by and while your at it bring your own family and friends too.

This is a lovely mom and pop cafe. They do not sell any alcoholic beverages here but they have a large selection of drinks and snacks. I visited this location to see a friend play in her band. The stage is small and the crowd packs the place. It was an enjoyable experience and moving around was not a problem. I plan on coming back and trying more snacks.

First time back in Portland in a LONG time!
Looked up where to hang out for a few hours, do some work and wait for a friend to get off of work.
Marino's was everything I wanted -- cool, eclectic with a warm and fun barista and just a great overall laid back vibe
Café Mocha was large, strong and perfect.
The ham and swiss croissant was really nice as well.
I will definitely come again when I am in Portland.
